This is my second Cuisinart SmartPower Blender. I had one that I used for Nine years before the motor stopped working- I suppose i work the motors because I prefer thick smoothies. I love the heavy glass container- the design helps move what I am blending toward the blades. It is super easy to clean. My biggest complaint is the new blender decides to just stop working. . . when I am not done blending- which is annoying. Luckily it works again the next time I choose to use it- but often not immediately so the smoothie may only be partially blended. My previous blender NEVER did this strange stopping and refusal to continue blending. I miss my previous blender which was purchased in 2007 (I didn't use it for a couple of years, it was a back up blender that I starting using consistently in 2013). I also think the motor could be more powerful. I would buy this again. . . but there could be improvement made in the motor.

Loud at high speeds

I used my brother’s blender and liked it so much that I bought my own. However, when I used mine to liquify my early morning smoothies, the whirring actually hurt my ears, it was so loud. It does a great job, but my neighbors might not love it.

Excellent machine at excellent price. However, color is cheesy. No white?

Works great. I had my previous one, same exact item, for many years but it gave way for some reason. I was going to send this one back because the chrome, to my taste at least, looks cheapo. However, my housekeeper took it out of the box and threw the box away so, I'm keeping it. Excellent product! And, nice price!

Very noisy, leaves lumps

I wanted to use this to make smoothies for my daughters. It couldn't even smooth out bananas, let alone frozen strawberries. It was also so loud it hurt my ears--it sounded like taking the lawnmower through a brush pile. On the whole, it was not what I needed. Milkshakes it could make.

Great purchase !

Satisfied with this purchase ! For those who like good looking kitchen appliances, this is a nice product. It's not to heavy when manipulating the glass cup capacity work bowl and the electronic touchpad controls are user friendly. Food processor button provides the perfect speed for processing foods.

Bonita, práctica y potente

Lo bueno: Esta coqueta la licuadora, la jarra de vidrio es más gruesa que las que venden en los supermercados, los botones son muy cómodos, funciona correctamente. Y afortunadamente llegó entera. Lo malo: Costosa para ser de plástico la carcasa del motor. Hace ruido aunque no como las tradicionales. Llego en una caja un poco grande, por lo que llevaba riesgo de quebrarse, no traía ningún tipo de protección: unisel o bolsa de burbuja.
