The best convection oven/air fryer I've seen
I sent for this Cuisinart air fryer/convection oven after trying another model and sending it back. That way I knew what I wanted (easy-to-read manual knobs, sturdy rack and pan, nothing flimsy, and a light) and what I didn't want (knobs that require a flashlight to read, flimsy overall, attractive but mediocre performance). I thought I wanted the French doors, but they weren't worth the lower quality on the oven we tried first. This oven does lose heat, but in researching them, I found unless you spend A LOT more money for a professional half- or quarter-oven, all these ovens in this price range are going to lack insulation and therefore lose heat. For the price, I can recommend this one. It's very sturdy, I like the knobs much better than anything digital because I've had those die before, it heats fast and cooks unbelievably fast, it handles air frying, convection and regular baking, although I haven't tried plain toast yet. I ruined the first baked potatoes, and sweet potato and purple fries I tried because I didn't cut the cooking time in half--and this was even after following included booklet directions (for the fries) to the letter. It said 15 minutes, and they should have come out at least after 10 minutes. So use caution! It takes some getting used to, but overall we have been using it to replace cooking usually done in our big and half-size ovens except for big pan items, like 3 bread pans, 2 cake or roll pans, big cookie sheets, and big sheet pan for biscuits. I know the booklet says this oven can handle these, but I am happier with my big oven for these baked goods, and I don't want to crowd or take a chance of ruining them. For regular baking, convection baking, air frying, and warming up items, I highly recommend this Cuisinart oven.

You need this in your life
I use this appliance literally every day. It's very convenient and FAST as an air fryer, and it's way healthier than frying in oil. I hardly use my big oven at all since I got this. I used the first one to its demise and am now on my second one. I recommend staying on top of cleaning, including the crumb tray. Once you learn the configuration to use for each application, it's just a breeze to use. And it looks great on the countertop too. Love love love it! And did you know you can air fry butternut squash? And broccoli? You can, and it tastes great!

Great oven!
I’m very happy with this overall function of this oven. The air fryer works perfect. And I don’t have to turn on my large oven! My only complaint is cleaning it. It’s difficult. Otherwise I’m so happy with this purchase.
