GREAT SUCTION POWER! - Apartment though, too much.

GREAT SUCTION POWER, too good for carpet; literally pulled the carpet up off of the floor. - Although it did give my carpet a better than good cleaning, lol. - Gave away. - Probably loud? Used hearing protection. Too big & powerful for apartment living, in my opinion; 20 gallon 6.5 Peak Hp. - Pics are to show size. Positives, used once. - Great suction power. - Hose is nicer than other ones! - Handle with bag, A+! - Back two wheels are really nice. Could, I imagine, take it off road, E.g. building a house & getting vac up there, compared with four casters. - Put together well. Slight negatives, used once; could just be me? - Hose did not go on the hose storage well. - Found that the hose attachments did not stay on very well while vacuuming; unless you shoved them together; then it was hard to get apart.

Blower Power

Yikes! It's big, makes the 12 gallon I had looks tiny. First thing I used it for was to blow out our clothes dryer in wall to outside vent, and I am glad I bought it. The blower power output side cleared all lint accumulated within the vent with ease, then I tried the vacuum side in my Garage, it has good suction, so I am pleased with it. As mentioned by other purchasers, consider whether or not you have an area to store it, if you do, don't worry whether or not it will do the job you expected. One major thing I loved about it are the location pads around the base and top that allows for storing all accessories on the unit. This is really a nice touch and it save storage space. If the size bugs you get a smaller unit, if not, you are not wasting your money on this one. The caster wheels and support base are hard plastic that easily snap in place for tight fit, I had no issue with product maneuvering.

Suction is fantastic but wheel castors are impossible to install.

Edit...i drilled the holes to make them bigger. Worked great. The vacuum itself is better than expected but the wheel castor pins were much larger than the holes. Instead of being able to push in and then be able to swivel, they literally had to be beat in and once in place they are so tight it will not swivel. Obviously the wheels will become useless when they develop a flat spot from sliding instead of rolling. Poor foot and wheel design or mismatched pair that needs to be replaced

was very happy with the suction and the dust collection bag that came with it. Use it for wood working and my garage has not been this clean after a session of cutting and sanding in a long time.

Almost too much power

I wanted the most powerful shop vac I could find for my wood shop duct collection system. I bought this unit and rigged up to my saws using hoses and blast gates. The first time I tried it with my miter saw, the suction was so strong, it sucked the dust collection flange closed, so it didn't work. Had to open the bast gate to another saw some to relieve the suction. Then I tried with my table saw and the two together tripped the 15A breaker in my work bench power strip. It's a beast of a machine - just make sure you have the need for it. Oh - and it's huge, so make sure you have space as well.

This was used for a mobile detailing rig

I wanted this to fit under my tonneau cover for my auto detailing rig and it works perfect just enough space with no handle on it to fit under the cover and the suction is super powerful!

Compact, easily moved

Very happy so far with this vacuum which was easy to assemble and put to work. Really like its low profile and greatly impressed by its suction power - far better than the machine it replaced. I've had several Craftsman products over the years and hoping this one will repeat as a provider of long-time service.

Very happy, delivered quickly we liked our small older craftsman from sears.we bought a rigid brand from home depot and you could hear it across the acreage from inside a bldg that one got returned real quick. This craftsman is quiet like our other one.and the suction is amazing

Product quality, price and attachments make this vacuum a good product to buy.

I like the way the Craftsman vacuum is easy to assemble and when I turned the power on the suction was very strong. Compared to my old model of Craftsman vacuum there is no comparison. There are many more attachments to attach to the hose especially the bag that goes in the canister. The plastic is very strong and I think it will outlast my old vacuum which I had for about 38 years. The attachments fit very well on top of the 4 wheels. The only negative comment about this vacuum is the canister is a bit too wide and takes too much room when I place it in my garage. If it offers me the same service as the old one and I was a bit younger I would buy another one, no questions asked. Also the price was very easy to pay. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

It's a Craftsman

Its got a low center of gravity so its not prone to flipping over like my old one. It was very easy to assemble, no parts were missing, it runs fairly quietly, has good suction, and blows really well. It would be nice if the ears sticking off the handle for wrapping the cord were a little longer because they work, but just OK. Maybe they'll get better as the cord gets used a little more. Pretty minor though in the big picture.

Sucks Incredibly... but in the good way!

There used to be cobwebs in garage... used to be; astala vista, baby. Removed so many cobwebs, even a butterfly shown up, not even kidding... I also went snowmobiling today! This vacuum sucks a lot but in the good way. Perfect for getting snow off a sled after a hard day's ride, no more overnight lakes in the garage; whatever drips away, is just fun to pick up. POWER!! Yeah, the concrete gets dry in no time. Made a mess with antifreeze? Gasoline? No problem! Thing has a tap, so you can drop liquid contents... and it works. Easy to assemble and has already gotten its fare share of work. I absolutely love this thing's power, 6.5 hp? Really? Ha! What next, gas powered?? >;p Not sure if it is that much but if I put the hose directly against the floor, it stays in place and even used it to bring closer harder to reach, larger but light items; which I am dealing with a lot right now. It's no joke, don't put anything you like in front of the exhaust. Great hose too, rigid enough that you don't lose power. Great reach too. It's great quality to price ratio. I do recommend it and I am finding excuses to get another one.
