Excellent Legacy tool.. But! Beware ordering this.

This is what professional and serious amateurs should use. Learn to use it. Open it all the way and get the target into the throat of the shear. BUT! BEWARE the last one of these I bought came as an unknown off-brand pair of useless scissors stuffed into the packaging of the Corona tool I ordered.. Worthless nonsense and the great People at Amazon don't even pretend to understand my complaints! It's all in fun.

These are sharp and open an close with ease

I do like these a lot. If I had to ding them I would say that for my hand, they open a bit too wide and so I have to use my other hand to close them a bit in order to fully grasp them with my right hand. Other than that, they cut well and open and close smoothly.

Great for small to mid size limbs if you have the hand power , rust fast make sure to oil but will stay sharpe !

Not the most expensive but certainly the best - forget Felco these are better value

Outstanding - cuts up to 1" diameter!

I use these in my garden and not only are they well made and extremely durable, they can cut through up to a 1" branch like butter. It's hard to find anything over 3/4" so if that's your need grab these. You won't be disappointed.

Good quality pruners (Corona BP 3180)

Good quality pruners (Corona BP 3180). Please note that these may be better for someone with a medium-to-large or simply large, hand size. I have small-to-medium hands and to open the blades wide to accommodate bigger branches, the span of the handles becomes quite wide too. I can still span them but can't apply as much pressure as I'd like for cutting because I'm basically holding on with the tips of my fingers.

Handle design prevents cutting anything over 1/2" one handed

Poor handle design, I have XL size hands and for anything over 1/2" thick I have to use two hands due to handles opening span the size of a shovel. Good for flowers or trimming small bush, useless for pruning trees.

Not what they claim

These cutters are rated to cut through 1" stems. They do not. They hardly cut through 1/2". They work very well on 1/4" stems. Very disappointing because I did my homework and thought I was purchasing a good cutter. My 10 year old cheap Fiscars work better.
