the 5 inch is perfect size.......7 inch is too log for easy use

I’ve been looking for a new pair of scissors to give my poodle her monthly hair cuts and I’m so glad I purchased these! I read a lot of reviews before deciding and I liked these because they are sharp and easy to handle. I would definitely purchase again

Too big for a small dog

I bought the 7 inch this time. The scissors are a little too big to trim a small dog's fur on her face. Go for the 6 inch. Overall good product.

Works Great!

Although I was careful trimming my dog's paws with standard scissors, and didn't ever cause harm, my dog was still afraid. I guessed that the freak-outs were due to feeling an occasional, light poke. I decided to try round tip scissors for that reason. It seems I was right, because all fear is gone during grooming now. I'm a smaller woman with petite hands, and I bought the smallest shears, the 5", for that reason. My dog's on the larger side, but these are both easy to maneuver and comfortable to use.

These scissors are the only ones that should be used around your pets eyes or mouth, because they are safe and easy to use. You don't have to worry about any jabs in case they jerk, which my one dog loves to do.

5 inches is the entire length not just the blades

These scissors are sharp and sturdy. I ordered 5 inch thinking that is the length of the blades but the 5 inches include the handles. They are small for the price.
