Easy on My Hair

This curling iron seems to be easy on my hair. I have fine, highlighted hair. It is the second one I have bought. The first one the silicon finally wore off after about 2 years.

This is going to take some practice!

I'm quite uncoordinated when it comes to winding my hair around a curling wand; I really prefer a clamp-style curling iron for the best curls at this point. The curling wand give me waves at best. What I like most about it is the temperature control mechanism and the speed of which it heats up to the selected temp. For my fine hair, there is really no need for anything above 300 degrees and even that is a bit too hot. While the included "glove" is helpful it only covers the thumb and forefinger and that means I inevitably burn the rest of my hand! It IS nice to see something that's made specifically for my hair type though.

Works well!

I have medium-length, fine hair. This does not snag. It works better than the other curling irons (which I've been using for 40 years!!). I've tried numerous types & like this one best.

Treats fine hair well

Handy Flat iron, I had to change the wire though, so that it could be adjusted to greek plugs. Treats fine hair well

Stupid hot & fries thin hair

Not for thin, color treated hair.. very hot and not any more gentle than any other curling iron. I thought the lowest heat settings would be la little lower than a normal curling iron for fragile hair but they are not.

Great for REALLY fine hair

I think this is a great curling iron and works very well; however, a word of caution… this is for REALLY fine and silky hair. Some of my hair has texture and I find that it causes a lot of friction or tugging on my hair. I think this is perfect for fine hair but maybe best for only fine silky hair.

Great for very fine hair

The best iron I've ever tried & I have tried many...very fine hair is hard to curl or wave but this iron does it all & does not fry the gair, I love it.
