Dad loves it

My dad kept admiring the Columbia panorama jacket I had purchased so I wanted to get him something similar in a mens style for Christmas. I’m already a fan of Columbia for quality and fit and this jacket did not disappoint. Dad is older, but I still like him looking sharp. This jacket is soft and should be durable if it is anything like the womens panorama jacket. The pocket on the chest is handy for the typical odds and ends. For those carrying a cell, unless it is huge it should fit nicely and be secure while accessible. My dad is about 6’5” and 195. I was worried the the sleeves would be too short since that has been a struggle, but the actually fit and the length of the jacket is also long enough-right about mid-butt. Warm without being overwhelming since he just wears this when we are in and out for medical appointments. My husband was also eyeing this jacket up when I received it in - it’s sharp.

Significantly warmer version of old standby Columbia fleece

This is a much warmer version of the old standard Columbia fleeces. It costs a good bit more, but it is *significantly* warmer (in fact, it's too warm for the mildly cool conditions in which I have worn the old Columbia fleeces for years). It is thicker, extends about 2.5" (maybe 3") farther down over my pelvis, and worth it (I think) for conditions too cold for the old Columbia fleeces but not cold enough to require one of my down parkas.

Very warm and comfortable.

Very warm with a wool-like quality of not over heating. It quickly became a favorite. Great for layering. I live in the north east. Was great under a parka. Wore it in near zero temps. It was just what I wanted. Will use camping, hiking and working on the property.

Ok for the price but not that great.

Was hoping for for this jacket to be better. Seems like Columbia is changing their quality quickly. I bought this in a medium and it's longer in the torso and slevees by about 1 to 2 inches. The other thing I don't like is they added an elastic around the top of the neck so it sinches funny. I will say it is super soft. I have the Columbia Cozy Camper (not sure if they still make it) which is much better then this.
