Not tights.

I bought another brand of these style pants only to discover they were like men's tights. Since I don't do ballet or plan to appear in Robin Hood any time soon, I gave them away after one wearing. Thought I would give these a try as I have other ColdPruf products that work great in cold weather. They appear to be just like the other tights I gave away, but after one wearing I could tell the difference. They did cling to the skin like the others, but they kept the cold out and absorbed the sweat from the days work. Now I wish the other regular ColdPruf long johns I purchased were like these. I wear them while working in cold weather, but I could see where they would also work for athletic activity in the same environment. Ease of movement and keeping the cold out sold me on this item. Will watch for more as the next cold season comes along. Keep them in my wish list so I can check on their availability every so often.

Warmer than I expected

Received timely, ordered XXL when I usually take XL as I have found similar products run smaller. Glad I did as it fits perfectly after cool wash, low tumble dry. DO NOT use dryer sheets or fabic softener! Very warm for a lighweight base layer. With record cold in NW IL it is serving me well.

Pretty good.

It's a little pill-y, but warm and thin. It is comfortable and I'll get a lot of use out of it.

Warm but became itchy after a few washes.

Even though I washed them according to the label, they became very itchy after a few washes. They are warm and great for use during the winter months. But now that winter in Chicago is over, I may be tossing these and purchasing a different brand in the future.
