My dogs favorite toy

It's flexible, durable and fetchable. I bought both sizes and my mini blue heeler prefers the longer one so she can shake it like she's killing it.

My dog can’t live without this toy, wish it lasted longer.

For over the past year this stick has been the 1 toy that our 1.5 yr old German Shepherd puppy simply can’t stand to be without. She likes other toys but this one has always been the most important to her and she gets anxiety if she can’t find it, especially when it’s time to go outside. Unfortunately, the construction of the toy isn’t the greatest, it normally starts to tear and break within a few months of buying a new one and we then have to throw it out. I wish they were made to be more durable and since it’s the only toy she gets anxiety without, I have to make sure I buy multiples at a time so that I have “back-ups” when it expectedly breaks. It’s a fun toy and great to play catch with, as long as you are okay with needing to replace it quite often.

This is my dogs favorite outside toy

My dog carries this stick with him everywhere when he is outside. I love that it is easy on his teeth, it floats, and it doesn't hurt when he slaps us with it, unlike real sticks. They do not hold up well to games of tug, but so far he hasn't been able to chew it up. I think a real aggressive chewer would do damage.

Not Recommended For Strong Chewers

My pup absolutely loved this toy! Unfortunately, the stick couldn't hold up to the tough love and started breaking down fairly quickly. It's a good toy if your pup has a fairly gentle hold, but if they like tug-of-war or chewing on rubber type toys, I wouldn't recommend it.

Great Dog Entainment and Fun!

If you have a dog who likes to fetch, buy this Air Fetch Stick Toy! I have three dogs who love to play with it and have played with it for months now. It is still in great shape and used often. I always rinse it off after a play session. It is easy to clean and have ready for the next session. GREAT price too!

Not as sturdy as most Chuckit toys

I bought these Chuckit sticks for my “grand dogs” for Christmas. The heeler had big chunks off of it within minutes and the lab puppy had pieces off of hers within the first hour of play. I was excited to find these retrieving toys made by Chuckit, because normally this is a brand that lasts. They are great retrieving sticks, but I will have to make sure we keep a close eye on them and pick them up each time we are finished playing with the pups.

Safe alternative to a typical wooden stick

I had previously purchased a Chukit Breathe Right Ball which I was very happy with, so when I saw this version I thought it might make a safe alternative to the typical wooden stick which my young pup always make a bee line for when we go out. I wasn't disappointed! When you first see this you would be mistaken in thinking it is flimsy and probably won't last long in view of it being made of a weave effect rubber, but so far, (2 months on), it is still in one piece. It is lightweight and sturdy enough to throw a good distance the bright orange colour making it easy to see in any long grass or undergrowth. The holes in the mesh mean there is no need to be concerned about your dog having their airway occluded and it banishes the worry of awful stick injuries to your dogs mouth/throat widely publicised on the media. I don't yet know the longevity of this item, but the ball version I bought over six months ago still looks like new! My dog is a 7 month old Springer Spaniel/Labrador cross, so I don't know if the Chukit Breathe Right Stick/Ball would suit Bull Breeds or other dogs with a stronger bite, but I would highly recommend this dog toy to anyone with a boisterous puppy or dog with a medium strength bite.

Perfect safer option than sticks

I bought this for my Cockapoo who likes to carry sticks & play fetch while out on walks, but wanted a safer option & this is perfect. Note - lots of reviews saying that it's not 'durable' - like many dog toys, it's meant to be used with supervision & is not intended to be a chew toy. If I leave him with the stick while I'm busy, he will chew it up & it will of course break pretty quickly. As soon as he starts getting bored with playing fetch - I remove the stick from him so he's not left to chew it up!

Good, but not fully chew proof

The media could not be loaded. This is really good for the dog being able to breathe better with it (recommended for pugs and other short-nosed breeds perhaps?) and throws well with good enough weight. Dogs get their teeth well into it, so tug is good but of course, be careful of their teeth and don’t push it too far. It’s got some good flex and doesn’t hurt to stand on, LOL! It is not completely chew proof: my cocker spaniel has ripped off a few little bits in some good chewing sessions. It’s tough enough for some tug and fetch, absolutely! But it’s not tough enough to be left unsupervised.

Perfect!

This is the best toy I have purchased. It is perfect as a throwing stick in the park. My cockapoo is happy to chase after it and play fetch. I feel happy knowing he is running with this in his mouth, and it will not harm if something goes wrong. It is a useful multi-purpose toy, too. I use it for enrichment. I put some kibble in it then stick a gravy bone in each end, and they seal it off. He has to work out how to break up the gravy bones to eat them and figure out how to get the kibble out. It keeps him occupied for around 10 minutes, although he is getting quicker at it now he knows what to do. It is made of a good quality thick and strong material. Marley likes to sit and chew it and has not chewed through it, or even made an indent. The colour is helpful so you can find it in the field if he fails to fetch it.

Excellent buy

Both of my mini schnauzers love this, too much really as it's so high value they won't retrieve to me but will run off with it if not on long line, lol. Excellent for reinforcing a bomb proof retrieve! Won't stand up to sustained chewing but will take a good game of tug without damage. Orange is a favorite colour with mine, as is light blue. Good value and of course much safer than throwing sticks for retrieve.
