Sturdy lab coat

I like that this coat washes well and has not torn like others I have purchased. Great find for the price. Looks great!

lightweight lab coat; inexpensive

I ordered this lab coat to replace one that got torn when it got caught on a door jam. This coat is lightweight, which will be an added advantage this summer. It has all of the pockets one would want - a breast pocket and two large side pockets. The breast pocket has a sewn sleeve in it that is intended to hold a pen, but it is too small to accommodate my gel pen. One would have to have a very slim pen to fit in it (a simple Bic pen may fit). The coat lacks the side openings that my old jacket had -- you will not be able to put your hands in your pants pockets without swinging the coat open. This may actually be a plus, though, as my previous jacket was ruined when one of those side openings got caught in a door jam when I was walking out of an exam room. I found this lab coat was a little on the large side for the size I ordered, although it still fits okay. You may want to order a slightly smaller size than what you would ordinarily choose. This is an inexpensive lab coat and would be suitable for any physician or technician needing a long lab coat. Overall this is a very good value.

This is my first time ever wearing a lab coat, but I found this to be surprisingly comfortable. It almost feels like a shame I can only wear it on few occasions as it was purchased for costume purposes. The coat itself never particularly got in my way or caught up on anything the two days I wore it for my entire shifts in a retail setting despite the stockroom being a crowded mess thanks to the influx of Christmas related merchandise. The pockets are comfortably placed and sizeable enough to easily store some of my costume related props (in this particular instance, pokéballs as I was imitating Professor Oak). And the last bit that pleased me was the light material. I tend to get a bit too warm when wearing long sleeves to work, but this coat proved to be light enough where I might have been a little warm, but not terribly uncomfortable. I think this is a good piece for costumes given my short experience in it and I look forward the next time I have the opportunity to use it for another costume.

Glad I got a large. Great for lab class. Good buy.

Bought for college lab class. The material is thin but sufficient and thicker than I thought it would be for the price. I would not buy it for a professional use..would want it to be more tailored and better quality for "on the job" but for class it is fine. The pen holder is useless...way too small to get even the slimmest writing instrument in the slot. It's nice having the large top chest pocket though to put my reading glasses in when not in use. I am glad I got the LARGE as a medium surely would not have worked. I am 5'5" and 170 lbs; small on top with wide hips. I can button all but the bottom two buttons and it is definitely roomy except for hip area. I had to roll up the sleeves but they stay put just fine. The side pockets are big and great for putting extra gloves in.

Great lab coat, 10/10

This is a reasonably priced, good quality lab coat. I purchased this for a Carlos the Scientist cosplay and ended up using it for a murder mystery dinner theatre and a children's historical play as well (who knew a lab coat would come in handy in so many non-scholarly situations). I don't suppose someone working in a professional setting would be getting up to a lot of rough housing in this, but I did and it came out it looking perfect, this thing isn't flimsy by any means I am a 5'5" 130lb female, usually wear a 6 in women's clothing and an x-small worked perfectly for me. Initially I purchased a small that I had to return due to sizing issues and it was a super easy process, quick and worry free. It's got three pockets, one with a smaller pocket built in to fit one pencil, which I thought was cute. Overall, if you need a lab coat, I would definetly reccomend this one

The large fits me perfect, almost tailored

This review is mainly for the fit. I am a man 6' Tall and about 210 lbs. I have wide shoulders and normally wear a 44 to 46 suit jacket. I'm not fat but I'd say I have the "Dad" build. The large fits me perfect, almost tailored. Not baggy or sloppy at all. The fabric has a cottony feel so I think it will be o.k. in the hot weather. I'll be wearing it over a t-shirt or scrubs. You may want to go with the XL if you're wearing over a suit jacket. I hope it doesn't shrink when I wash it or I might be in trouble.

Wrinkles

It fits my son great for school, but then he shoves it in his back pack, and it gets all crumpled. Guess that is not a product issue.:) Aside from that, great lab coat.

Awful quality

If you are a professional and you want to look good, don't buy this product. It's quality is awful... No button on the sleeves which makes it very useless if you really work in a Lab... Also, horrible design. Doesn't look good, and does not look professional at all.

Fits big!

Bought because I needed a lab coat for one of my lab classes in college. I didn't want to buy one from the bookstore because they were so expensive. The quality of the material is great. It's super strong and thick, you'll be very protected wearing it. I had this coat for two years now and I was not easy on it. It still looks like the day I bought it. I ordered it a bit large because I was scared it would fit small, but it didn't. I did have to roll the sleeves because they were too long for me. Overall, it was a very good purchase and I have zero buyers remorse.

A bit wrinkly

The main drawbacks of this product for me are that they are fairly easy to wrinkle, and need to be ironed each time, and also that they are slightly translucent, especially if you're wearing dark clothes underneath. Overall though, they are good quality for the price and perform their purpose.
