Handy piece

Cute salt cellar
Have used a small dish to hold salt near my stove for easy accessibility but not happy with leaving the contents exposed (kind of a messy cook). This Salt Cellar solves that problem, is easy to use and it looks cute to boot! Love it and would recommend.

I love it!
I got this for Christmas for myself for a craft not food. It is perfect for my shammy but I am having trouble keeping it closed as it wants to fall back open even if you dont touch it. I find myself having to close it from time to time on my desk. But I still love it. Great idea for my projects.

Not just for salt
I am a paper crafter. I use a lot of ink when I am working. I like to keep a wet microweave cloth handy - not only to clean my hands, but my stamps and work area. I have a limited work area and have a tendency to either "bury" or drop my cleaning cloth. On the internet, I saw a fellow crafter use this salt cellar to hold her cleaning cloth. I just had to get one for myself. Now my cloth stays handy and damp wet whenever I need it - only drawback is that this cellar keeps the cloth damp for days & the cloth can get smelly. The rest of the cellar stays dry. It is so very easy to use. I have a 2nd one for sugar and it works great!

Sleek and serviceable
Wanted a salt-cellar that you could open with one hand, and this one does the trick. The hinge to open it could be a bit smoother, since it requires more effort than expected to open the lid, but it still only requires one hand. And I love that all of it is able to be cleaned with soap and water (since another one of mine has a bamboo lid that I don't want to submerge in water). Despite its white color and residing close to the stove, anything it's gotten stained with - including pasta sauce - wipes off without a trace with soap and water.

Great salt cellar
I bought this for a bit of an unconventional use, to keep a damp chamois wet for some paper crafting cleaning. But this is a great little salt cellar it has a very low profile I’m actually thinking of getting another one to replace my current salt situation and possibly even add another for specialized salt

Well made but...Not what I expected
I bought this for my stamp cleaning cloth, to use while card making. It isn't big enough to fit my cleaning cloth. But it works well for keeping baby wipes damp while you are crafting. They tend to dry out quickly and this keeps them moist. I really like it for that. It would work for a smaller cloth. I have also used it to contain my stamps and dies until I can clean them and put them up. I am still trying to figure out the best use for it. It is well made and easy to open and close with one hand.

Too light to use one handed
Hard to open one handed making its utilization as a salt cellar limited (since I'm often reaching for it with one hand contaminated). It's a cute device and I think I will repurpose it for hobbies/storage as others seem to suggest.

Good purchase
I use this too keep my shammy damp during crating sessions . I had seen them used for this purpose in various craft demos and they were recommended by the demonstrators .. However I don't think they are available anymore , as I wanted to get one for a friend and cannot find them ...
