The Sidewinder system works like a squeegee on your windshield; covering more area at faster pace.

The Sidewinder system safes you time on the pickup without having to move the furniture in your work area. This system works like your windshield wipers; using this motion with great suction that pickup on hard and carpeted floors. I use a back pack vacuum that allows greater mobility. The narrow head makes it easier to vacuum between and underneath placed furniture; without having to move them out of the way out of way. I use the Sidewinder system at work and at home. If I have to use the gooseneck system I’ll go to my car and get my sidewinders, hard floor brushes and carpet brush with the straight long tube to replace the the back and forth gooseneck.

Wanted this floor tool for a while

I finally decided to get this after seeing someone, who owned a Hoover backpack vacuum (as I do), recommend this tool. I love my Hoover backpack vacuum but the floor tool is sometimes too big to get into smaller areas. I watched a video of the Sidewinder and that sold me. So far I like it but I've noticed that I sometimes have to go over the same area again to get all of the debris. I still need more practice on how to best maneuver the Sidewinder so it cleans efficiently. I'm glad I purchased this. I would recommend getting the Sidewinder wand to go with the tool.

Decent Value Product

This tool seems to work just as well as the Pro Team brand at a lower cost. The bottom of the brushes should have some notches cut out though. That way the dirt and debris can be sucked up more easily. With the current design you have to lean the tool over to be effective or you will push some of the dirt & debris around versus actually vacuuming it up.

Takes Practice, But It's Worth It

Pro: Our building vacuuming time was reduced by around 30% using this and the Advance Pro-Team backpack vacuum. The unbent, side to side motion is better on our physical bodies than the traditional bent over back and forth. The extremely low profile makes it easy to get around chairs and under tables and other such obstacles. Con: For this to work the vacuum head needs to remain flush with the floor. That takes practice. You won't pick this up immediately. It requires a few days and helps to have someone monitor the head from another angle as it's hard to see if the head is flush from a top. You need to learn how to pivot at the waist and hips more than the back. It's faster and produces less strain. Using this requires a change in behavior from how it's been done for years. That's not an easy adjustment for many. I found it more than worth it.

Fits the SEBO canister vacuum

I got this for my SEBO Airbelt D4 vacuum. It fits well, I just wish you could lock an angle in. It is well made and I keep finding more uses for it.

Brilliant attachment works very well. Like a broom.

I absolutely love this sidewinder attachment. It is the 18" and I think I should have gotten the 15". It would have gotten better suction throughout the whole size. To me it acts more like a broom than a vacuum attachment. I use it with a proteam fs6. So I have plenty of suction. I have an attachment with sections cut out so it will pick up dirt off the floor and it does really good getting dirt off the floor. I do like the fact that it swivels side to side because it can get into places that others can't.

Recommended (with straight wand!)

Excellent tool. The only improvement I can imagine would be to have a locking collar or other method of securing to the end of the wand - slips off occasionally. However, that is a minor issue, the performance (WITH a straight, preferably extendable, wand) is excellent.

You'll be glad you did

Outstanding product line--The Sidewinder Vacuum attachments make for a much more effective and ergonomic solution to vacuuming. This particular attachment is an outstanding tool for dusting large flat surfaces, and when coupled with a 135-degree vacuum wand attachment, make it simplicity itself to clean high surfaces from the floor. Copy the pros, and try out the Sidewinder vacuum attachments. You'll be glad you did.

This product is not at all what it claims it is. It is a Sidewinder Hard Floor tool and has a 1.5 inch fill brush on the bottom. Received wrong item again today. I would say you can't be sure that what you see is what you get.
