My husband is a simple guy, and this is a simple product for him to use. No need to fill the bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash when it comes all in one bottle! Smells good, works well, no complaints!

Smells Good - Lathers Nicely - I Seem The Expected Amount of Clean
I don't know how well this would actually condition someone with much hair, or textured hair, but it does the job on my very short, mostly straight hair. The scent isn't too much - lightly musky/woodsy and maybe a little citrus - and I don't think it lingers that long. The product itself is a pearly, silvery white, and makes a rich lather without using a ton. I typically use "moisturizing" cleansers, & feel like this one is much like those others. I've also tried using some of those body washes as shampoos, and do not like the way they've left my hair feeling - something that isn't an issue with the Cantu. It cleans my hair just fine. I haven't noticed any weird build up, or any extra dryness. It's been crazy handy for taking to the gym & traveling. This product is Sulfate-free, in spite of what some of the reviews mention. "Sodium Sulfate" isn't the same thing as SLSs - Sodium Laurel/Laureth Sulfates. The SLSs are strong detergents and degreasers - the same cleaning products used in dishwashing detergent and to clean engines. Sodium Sulfate is a form of salt that was once regularly used as a laxative. When products say they're "Sulfate-free", it's the detergent to which they're referring.

Great Product
For me personally, I use the 3 in 1 and their hair pomade. Leaves my hair and body feeling soft and clean; my beard too. Their pomade goes on easy and holds well. They both smell great.

It had been over a year since I fell in love, and started using this 3 in 1 (Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash), before I realized it was primarily marketed to MOC's (Men Of Color). Yes, black men. It all made sense... White men can't jump AND we have no idea what good skin and hair care products are. At least for the average retail joe. This amazing potion has it all! Tea Tree Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Shea Butter, and even Caffeine! Yes! Not only does your hair get clean and moisturized, but it wakes you up like you just marinated your head in a double shot of espresso! Warning though! You'll be spending more at the barber. My hair grows at lightning speed! It leaves your scalp and skin hydrated (even when the water softener runs dry), NO flakes, and leaves you smelling like He, Him, and His pronouns should. Not some flowery, citrus smelling, relabeled dishsoap from your safe space. No Sulfates, No Parabens, No Mineral Oils Gentlemen... if that Suave, Dove, Old Spice, etc body wash or classic Zest bar of soap is falling short, getcha some of this! You'll see what I'm talking about. Not a sponsored ad.

Good Shampoo But Leaves Hair Feeling Stripped
The shampoo is good if your washing once or twice a week and moisturize your hair after. But this shampoo makes my hair feel stripped after and doesn't really moisturize. If you're buying this for a wash and style to get/maintain your waves it is a good deal for the price especially if you are new to waves and just trying it out.

Great for Men's Afro Hair
This Cantu product helps to manage curly hair whilst also giving the hair a nice smell, which smells differently from the normal Cantu shampoo. I previously used the standard Cantu shampoo but wanted a product specifically for men and liked the fact that this shampoo also worked as a conditioner and body wash. I bought the first bottle in October 2021 and this ran out in October 2022. I was the main person in my household who used the shampoo but I occasionally shared, so you can get about a year's usage from this bottle for one person using it by themselves.
