A bit faster than I'd like, but well made. PS: stop trying to put the battery cover on backwards!

First, I have to get this off my chest. It simply amazes me how many people apparently don't think to even try turning the battery cover around before declaring it "broken". It would've saved Colt some bad PR if they'd designed it so it's not possible to squeeze the cover on at all when it's turned the "wrong way", but as it is, it does "almost" fit - though obviously not quite - the wrong way around. But it's a slightly terrifying comment on "average intelligence" that this apparently hasn't occurred to the dozens of people complaining about it in their product reviews. /soapbox That being said, for the price, I think it's quite well made. Given the number of these that have apparently been received DOA, or that have broken quickly, I guess maybe there's a quality control problem (or maybe there are a lot of "counterfeits" on the market?), but mine has held up to regular use for just over a year now without any noticeable sign of wear. Needless to say, I don't throw it around or "yank" on the cord, but I don't treat it like fine china, either. I've dropped it in a drawer harder than I intended to, it falls off the bed, gets rolled over on, etc, and has "still kept on ticking"... MY only complaint is that the slower speed is definitely not "slow". I obviously can't speak to vaginal use, but for anal use (and having a prostate gland rather than other anatomical parts), a much slower "rumble" is much nicer. I actually like the speed best when the batteries start to give out, but by then, they only last another day or two.. :(. Rechargeable batteries, which have a slightly lower voltage than alkalines, do slow it down a little, but not as much as I'd really like...

Good, but not amazing.

My first vibrator ever appears to have been similar to the Colt. It looked exactly the same but it had a purple remote and wasn't called the Colt (but still from California Exotics). I loved that thing. It was simple, had two speeds that actually seemed like different speeds, and worked wonderfully. It worked great for about three years, two of those with frequent use, until it finally puttered out last year. I couldn't find my beloved vibrator and ultimately, after some trial and error, replaced it with a different CalExotics bullet that was functionally the same, yet cheaper quality, and mourned for my purple vibrator. When the replacement died after only a year, I once again went on a hunt for a replacement. I found this little guy, reminiscent in all the right ways of my purple vibrator. I wanted to adore this thing, but it's not my purple vibrator. The bullet portion feels cheaper than even the other bullet vibrator I used for a year. It says it has two speeds, but the speeds really aren't that noticeably different (and yes, I tried with fresh batteries). I do like how it feels in the hand and that it has a switch instead of a dial. I also love that it uses AA instead of AAA (I will no longer buy vibrators with AAA). I use rechargable batteries, so I don't worry about how many batteries my vibrator will go through, so I can't comment on that component. It's a solid vibrator, not as awesome as my purple one, but then again I might never find its equal. Also IT RATTLES. I get that a lot of bullets have a bit of a rattle depending on the angle, but good lord the amount of rattle was distracting.

Button bad?

This is my second one, and possibly my last of this type. The button didn’t want to work at all at first, and then once it did it only found one setting. Finally, after several times of turning it on and off it found the second setting. It still doesn’t seem as powerful as my first was. I tried two different brands of batteries ( both sets were new and the same brand), but nothing changed it.

I love that is water proof and its strong.

The design of the product is stylish and does not look too feminine, If your a guy and want to buy your self bullet vibrators then these are for you. The battery holder cover is kinda of hard to get off sometimes but its easy to put back on. I guess is because its made to be water proof. you have to choose one option I guess, easy to put batteries or water proof =) I have used this bullet in the shower and its still working good. Just make sure to dry it after use and dont leave the bullet wet. I like these bullets because you can control the vibration by lightly pressing the button. The bullet can be turned on, but if you lightly press the button the vibration will turn off. As for the power: I give it a 4 star because I have used a stronger bullet before (I just cant find it anywhere anymore haha) not saying these are weak. This bullet is strong as-well. I'm just comparing it to a stronger bullet I cant seem to find. It only has 2 speeds, If your looking for just power I would with these but if you want multiple functions and speeds I would go with another kind. All in all, the remote looks good and not too feminine (if your a guy). Feels slick in your hands. Nice to hold. It only has 2 speeds and the vibrations are strong. You will definitely feel it. It is water proof, have fun in the tub or shower =)

Don't think you will be disappointed

I bought this for fun. I am female. My husband likes to take charge of the attached remote varying the speed to surprise me. It could be used externally (only) on a male. Low cost. No, it does not have a dozen speeds and pulses like the more expensive ones, but the 2 that it does have deliver nicely. Perhaps the only negative is that the bullet itself appears to be metal, but it actually a silver coating that is peeling off in a limited location. The underlying coating appears to be copper in color. The billet is 1" x 2.25" with a 28.5" cord to the remote control. It can be used with rechargeable batteries.

Very dissapointing and poorly designed

Battery cover did not even try to stay on once the batteries were inserted into the control unit. Unit us made from a poorly design clip and groove moulding which is very poorly defined and with a lot of flex in the cover, means the slightest tension from the battery pushing against the spring terminals makes the cap unfastenable. Waste of money, was not after lasting quality at this price but was hoping for use able. Still repaired my old bullet as the wire had failed at the bullet so not a total right off.
