Comfortable

I bought these (size medium) for my wife to wear inside her wading boots. She’s a 6.5/7 shoe size. These were way to large for her. I’d say for women a 9.5/10 would be the medium size for women. I wear size 11.5/12med width. These fit me well enough to wear around the house. Just a little small, but still roomy enough in the toe box. I’ve been wearing them inside my crocs for cold or wet days and have been pleased. As far as for wading, I would go with the large size. For those who want waterproof socks, you need to buy those. Neoprene is designed to trap a thin layer of water between your skin and the sock/suit. Your body warms that water and it’s trapped there. Hence the term (wet suit). I gave 4 stars due to the lack of a good sizing chart. Would recommend them to anyone.

Run large, pretty shapeless

These are very warm neoprene socks, but they are also more roomy and shapeless than other options. Good for fishing or wearing in cold wet conditions, and also for lounging. The fleece lining is thicker than regular lining and these will definitely keep you warm and will be easy to get in and out of your boots.

Hiking and cycling = Awesome in these

These things are awesome...they provide winter boot warmth in a relatively thin sock. I wear them inside running shoes, and for optimal warmth wear a thin wicking sock (cycling or running for example). If you wear a thicker wool, like smartwool sock then they aren't as warm...counterintuitive I know. It's because you're limiting circulation to the toes. I'm a very flat footed size 13 and I got the XXL I believe...so a little on the small side perhaps? Overall I'd highly recommend these...although I've not used them for waders, but for cycling and hiking in the winter they're great!

Still trying to figure out the best socks to wear under them

I've been looking for something to extend my cycling. So far I've used these on 4 rides. Still trying to figure out the best socks to wear under them. Saturday's ride (my lastest and coldest so far) it was 17 degrees when I started and was up to about 40 ish when I got done. I've always had "cold feet" I like these a lot better than the shoe covers (as they seem to only last one season). The fit seems to be good .. they are a little long (size 8.5 shoes).... I bought the large as I thought the mediums would be to small and then uncomfortable. So far I really like these.

If you are a diver give them a try, but I wouldn't recommend them for other purposes.

I work in a refrigerated manufacturing plant, and bought these socks to see if they would help my feet from going numb as usual, and help keep them drier than usual since they were intended for use while diving. These socks did not help to keep my feet and legs from getting as cold, as well as I expected. I also did not like that they do not have much stretch to the very top of the socks, which rest on a larger part of the ankle into the calf area. But they were exactly what I paid for. For me they did not perform to my expectations, but I did not use them for diving purposes either, which is what they were made for.

These things are amazing!! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they are huge! I wear a womens 10, mens 8 and the heel comes up past my ankle. I purchased a medium which was the smallest size offered at the time. They are wonderfully warm and I will be buying more!

GREAT Service, Quality, and Comfort.

I didn't buy this for a wading sock, but to cover my feet due to surgery that had me wearing my Teva Guide in the winter with socks. First the socks arrive days earlier than expected. I was a little nervous about fit, the XXL is for up to size 13 men USA, and I wear a size 16, where three sizes is an inch difference. The fit and comfort was perfect. Let's see if I can get good wear out of them for now and use them in the summer with my wetsuit.
