Fit Perfectly and no more cap fuel leak

Bought a used rototiller for my wife’s vegetable garden and only issue it had was the fuel tank cap leaked due to old dried up seal on cap. Bought this one and it fit and looked exactly like the original one and there is no more fuel leak.

This Did Not Fit My Craftsman Rototiller

My original gas cap number is part #490075. Apparently the number for this replacement cap is 494559. So I ordered it and it does not fit my 5hp craftsman tiller model #917.298142. Access to the gas tank hole is not fully accessible due to a metal casing that partly covers it. So I can't place the cap directly on top of the hole. I have the original which slips under the casing and then screws on. Returned it and Amazon did refund me.

Cap Fuel Tank

Bought this fuel tank thinking that would fit into my lawn mower.It is for a rotovator .My mistake the one i needed was for a lawn mower .paying a bit more of attention I identified the one for the lawn mower and bought the right one. The caps look very simmilar but the one for the lawn mower has some kind of indentations on top .I will keep this fuel cap as a spare

Wrong size

Wrong size to small for B&S 16.5 hp mower to small for petrol tank just put a rolled paper in tank opening.
