Love Bobby Garland, love electric chicken, meh on the tail

Like I said, love Bobby Garland jigs. But this tail isn't my favorite. It's almost too limber. I can't tell you how many cast I'd make only to retrieve this bait with it's tail wrapped around the hook. Great idea, maybe work on the stoutness of the tail material? Love your other products though.

Great Bait

I was fishing from a roadway at a cooling lake, on a warm day in the winter. I was using normal curly tail baits and tube jigs for Crappie. I was not catching very many. A guy came from my right that was catching Crappie left and right. He went around me and continued to catch Crappie for the next two hours just keeping bigger fish as he fished on down the bank. Now, I am not used to being on the short end of the stick, so I had to see what he was using. These look somewhat like curly tails, but are built quite different. The way they are made must give them action at a slower speed as he was retrieving very slowly. I now have gobs of these in black and Chartreuse, and Electric Chicken. I caught a lot of fish on both colors in the Spring of 2017 during the spawn, including Saugeye. I can't wait to try them in the winter off that road.

Crappie King

Crappie love the shiny hiney. 2nd to blue ice, this is one of my go to'a for crappie. Have also caught bass. Tie on with a 16oz road runner jug head, slow retrieve with a few ticks you'll be limiting out in no time.

Crappie love them, especially when outfitted with a 1/16th - 1/8th oz rooster tail jig head. Cast, let it sink just out of site from the top water, slow retrieve, feel a bump - SET THE HOOK! Have also inadvertently caught bass, sunfish, catfish. Great swim action tail that triggers fish feeding instincts.
