very water-resistant, not like a Bean bootie!

Blondo "waterproof" suede repels rain for the most part, even in heavy downpours. But because it's a mid-top chukka it will leak when stepping in deep puddles and raging streams of rainwater running over sidewalks. Fine for walking in downpours to & from your car, but can't handle flowing rainwater in streets while crossing. The plus is that it looks very on point business casual, not clunky like Bean booties.

Beautiful boots. I have worn Blondo boots for years. They are quality made boots that are comfortable. I would say they run half size to big so if they are unlined size down
