Fastener needs improvement

It’s a perfect shoe for my narrow foot. I wish they would make the strap with the fastener sturdier and use a higher quality fastener.

Darker Than They Appear Online

I wear a size 6.5 and my foot is quite narrow. I ordered size 7 and 7.5. Size 7 (7B as stamped on the shoe) is a perfect fit. The 7.5 was way too long and wide. Kept the 7, returned the 7.5 (no cost for shipping or returns). The shoe is made in China, quite comfortable, and seems to be made of high quality materials. It provides a silky smooth slide across the dance floor. No sticking. The shoe comes in only two colors; Natural and Black. The “Natural” color is darker than it appears online; instead of a tan color, it is more of a light brown. It would be nice if Bloch would add other color options (ie Gold, silver, blush, pink, navy, red, etc). Other than the lack of color options, I love this shoe.

Width not as expected

I bought these in silver and they fit perfect so I bought the black version and when I got them, they were really narrow... I put shoe stretchers on them and they fit perfect now. I love the size of heel for all occasions not just for dancing..

extremely pleased

I don't normally wear shoes when I dance, but age and old injuries finally caught up with me. So I bought these to raise my arches a little and I have to say, its a little weird for me dancing in shoes but, once I started moving around in them and getting a feel for them, I found that my balance greatly improved and I just felt stronger in my executions. I am happy. I am actually looking to by the tan color. My dance teacher ended up buying a pair too. I went a up half a size from my street shoe size and the fit was good.

SIZE 8 N AA

These Bloch Dance shoes fit my narrow foot very well. I am not use to suede on the bottom of dance shoes, I am use to it being a little more slippery, like the Bloch Jazz Split Soles, which are made of rubber, and pebbled for traction. However, I find the suede is less slippery than the rubber. The height is lower than what I am use to but I plan on using them for ballroom, swing etc.....I gave them 4 stars because the straps appear as though they may eventually break or stretch with use and the suede bottom looks like it could come away from shoe. I was mostly happy that they feet my narrow feet. I ordered an 8 and I have an 8 Narrow AA foot.

Super Comfortable

This is the 2nd time I've ordered this shoe. My normal dance shoe size is 6 1/2. I heard this line runs small so I went up one half size because I'm on the small size of a 6 1/2. It seemed fine after I used moleskin in the heel for a tighter fit. As I've worn i the straps over the front of my foot have loosened and now my toes run out the front of the shoe, the shoe is too short. This shoe is a 7 1/2, a full size larger than normal for me. I've just tried it on and it's very comfortable and I'm confident it will be long enough IF the front straps don't stretch too much. FYI, I have a slim foot so it's not my foot overstretching the straps. I'm giving 4 stars because of the sizing issue. Again, it's a very comfortable shoe and the heel height has allowed me to go back to dancing classes with my bad knees....I need knee replacements. So, if they are comfortable to dance in for me they should be great for you too. Just remember, go up a FULL size even though that seems crazy....

Good for my back pain

If I HAVE to wear a heel in dance, this is my go-to. I dance about 15 different styles, all for fun, not competitively. I have severe back issues 10+ years and so my shoes have always been a sticking point. These are versatile enough to get away with Latin, west coast swing, or kizumba and beyond.

Nice dance shoe but very small!

This shoe would work for dance if you have a small, not wide foot. They should offer wider sizes, I so wanted to keep these but the last strap pinched my foot very badly. Order 1 size up for sure, but if you have a wider foot, these will not fit.

Narrow Dance Shoe

This is a beautiful dance shoe, fully what I expected as far as style and aesthetics. Problem for me was that it was a very narrow fit. If you have a narrow fit and have a hard time finding shoes, this is the one for you!

Bonne qualité

J'utilise les souliers Bloch depuis 10 ans. Puisque mes sandales etaient des 8, et étaient usées et agrandies, j'ai décidé de prendre un point plus petit. Il est un peu serré, mais agrandira à la longue. Ce dernier est mon 6e soulier de danse Bloch.

Wrong sizing

This last purchase of this shoe was a bit of a disappointment. They had to be returned for a larger size. My wife has been using the same brand and model in a size 6.5 for many years. The new manufacturer is making these shoes to a smaller size designation, she now requires a size 7. Because of this change I had to pay return postage. This should fall on the new fabricator.
