Okay clamps

I bought these for the name and price. Don’t expect much from these low cost clamps. They work for small jobs with adequate force for clamping. Ordered it twice. First set got lost as it was leaving the shipping warehouse.

Misleading Photos

It appears that there are SEVERAL clamps in ONE PACKAGE but there was only ONE. I see I'm not the only one to discover this! Good product but misleading pictures.

You'll Grab 'em Again and Again

I find myself grabbing these for that extra set of hands in many situations where I used to reach for my 12 inch squeeze clamps. The 6 inch Besseys are just about as quick and are more compact.

NIce little woodworking clamp, but won't work on everything

I bought a 24in Bessey clamp years ago for some DIY woodworking projects, and it has often proved indispensable for the task at hand. When I bought this smaller one I thought I'd be getting the same design in a shorter format, but I should have looked closer at the picture. The longer clamp had a ratcheting mechanism and a lock, so you could release the lock first, move the jaw part along the serrated bar, lock it as close as possible to the intended position, and then finally use the screw part to tighten things further once everything was in place. This smaller clamp does not actually have a lock and release mechanism in the jaw, and instead it seems to rely on pressure/friction to "click" into the serrated bar. In other words, once enough pressure is applied by the screw part, the jaw will bend a few degrees and click into whatever is the closest notch on the serrated bar. To its credit this does work and can be quite strong at that, but it is a simpler mechanism and it's not quite as versatile as what I was hoping for.

Buena prensa pero publicación engaña al decir 1 Paquete

Es buen producto. Buenos materiales PERO NO ME GUSTÓ LA FORMA MALINTENCIONADA EN QUE LA TIENEN PUBLICADA AQUÍ EN AMAZON. La publicación dice "1 Paquete" y te muestran en las fotos 4 prensas o 3 prensas o 5 prensas y pareciera que ese es el Paquete . Y cuando llegan solo llega "1 Pieza" o "1 Unidad" , No " 1 Paquete" Por favor no engañen a la clientela. Hay quienes no caen pero hay quienes caemos en esta publicación engañosa

Great light duty clamps

First I'd like to point out that these are light-duty clamps. They work very well for nicely fitted joints or for holding down something you're working on but if you are trying to get an unwieldy piece of hardwood to conform to a poorly fitted joint then these are not good candidates. I gave them only 4 stars, not because I don't find them excellent but because the place of manufacture is marked as Germany on the site but it's clearly marked "Made in China" on the clamps, deceptive in my opinion. All in all I found them to be an economical, worthwhile purchase and expect them to hold up if using them for their intended "light duty" work.

Only received one clamp

Only received one clamp for $9.50, not a pack when you only get one, very misleading when pictures show 4. Looks to be good quality.

En la descripción lo manejan como paquete y en la imagen muestran hasta 4 piezas. Al comprarlo solo estas comprando una pieza. Es publicidad engañosa. Espero que ya no les compren.

Defecto en fabricación

Tienen un defecto en la fabricación, que se puede resolver marcando el dentado de la barra con un arco o segueta, de lo contrario se barre la prensa, por el precio vale la pena pero hay que corregir ese detalle, como se aprecia en las fotos, donde se señala el dentado original y el modificado, otra cosa que hay que señalar es que si bien en a publicidad se dice que son alemanas, su fabricación es china.
