CUTE CHAIR FOR THE PRICE
***********UPDATED REVIEW************** This review has been updated! I was very unhappy with my first purchase and was not getting anywhere with the company, FINALLY they emailed me back and replaced the chair, but there are still no instructions and I just used the screws that I bought. I was happy that they replaced the chair as I could not take the original screws out of the first chair. It is a good looking chair and it shipped to be very swiftly. **********ORIGINAL REVIEW************* I really wanted this rocker for our new baby and for the price it seemed like a steal. It arrived pretty quickly, but came without instructions and the screws were all the wrong size. The screws need an allen wrench which we had to get and then we realized that the screws were wrong for the bottom but couldn't remove them because they stripped so easily. I ended up buying screws for the legs that worked (the ones that came with it are too short and useless) but because the bottom screws weren't right it's very unstable. I contacted the company multiple times asking for both instructions and screws without an answer and there's no way I am going to pack this up and try to ship it back. They should just ship another out with instructions and the correct screws as this one is only good for the garbage (it would be unsafe to even give away). Stay away form this seller and buy from a seller on Amazon that will at least have the courtesy to email you back!

Very Happy With It
My wife and I confess, we're addicted to mid-cetury modern. But we have an equally important confession; we're extremely cheap. We love just about everything from Charles and Ray Eames, so seeing these Baxton Studio knockoffs was a high five moment. We needed a new rocker for the boys' room for nursing and whatnot, and this worked splendidly. It's a reproduction from China as you would expect, but the quality was about what we expected, and we're quite happy with it thus far. If you're looking to have a Herman Miller reproduction in your house or office, you'll probably not in the market for one of these. But if you're a bit more plebeian, like saving more than a few bucks while having a mid-cent modern classic, you're in luck! I've also always dreamed of owning a Nelson bench, but never could justify buying one because the one I wanted for my office was about $900, and, again, I'm cheap. So I waited to see how the Baxton Studio quality was on this cradle chair and another small stool we purchased on Amazon. Well, I just ordered the Nelson bench for just over $200 after seeing the quality of the products we bought. I just wish I would have seen the Baxton Studio gear a long time ago.

Love it!
This chair is perfect for my three-year-old's room. I read in other descriptions that the chair is 'small' and assumed that meant the seat was small. The seat is actually very similar in size to any normal sized dining or living room chair. It is quite short/low to the ground, so I would probably only use it in a child's room or with other 'low profile' furniture. The price was great, it feels sturdy to sit in, the kids love that they can easily climb in and out of the chair, and it looks great in his room. (I don't think I would use or purchase this chair for a nursing rocker, being 5'9" tall it is not the most comfortable chair for an adult to sit in for hours. As another reviewer stated, the angle of the seat/back require you to lean back to make it rock well, and it only goes up to just over mid-back for me - not super supportive for lots of sitting) EDITED 11/29/13: I have actually used this chair to: 1. Nurse a baby 2. Rock a child as old as 3 to sleep or to calm them in the middle of the night 3. Read with a child as old as 6. Not as comfy as a Lazy Boy, but still fully functional for our family. Still love this chair, it's not as pristine white as it was when we bought it, but since mostly only adults sit in it, it still looks great.

My perfect task chair
I was looking for a lightweight task chair that would also be comfortable for long periods of sitting. I decided to take a chance on this chair based upon the reviews and I absolutely love it. I'm 5'4" and 105 pounds which means that I don't have a lot of built in padding. Therefore I added a couple ofRio Home Fashions Seat Cushion Memory Foam Pillow and it is now absolutely perfect. I have attached a few pictures with the Rio cushions. The seat cushion alone makes it comfortable but using an additional cushion for the back makes it quite cozy. My feet fit quite nicely on the floor or propped up on an ottoman if I want to lean back. Best of all it is so easy to slide around a carpeted floor, which is something that I really needed since I like to reposition the chair for different activities. The chair comes in two pieces since the bottom rocker assembly is already put together so it just requires attaching the 4 provided bolts with the attached tool. :)

Love it!
Bought this for our baby's nursery. It was exactly what I was looking for - stylish and the perfect size for a small space. It's not the most comfortable chair for long feedings, but I've nursed my little guy in it (I just use a pillow that I put behind my back). I also use the chair to read to him during the day. But to be honest, if you do plan on getting this for a nursery, I'll admit that I don't nurse my son in this chair often - not because of comfort, but because I don't want to be stuck in his nursery - I usually go out to my living room couch so that I can watch something. But this is a chair that will grow with us - once he's bigger, I'm sure it'll be his favourite chair to sit and read in, and it's so light that I can easily move it from one room to the next.
