I LOVE THIS MODEL

i used to get these from Lowes for about the same price. found them a few years ago and have only bought these for many years. a couple months before i bought these i searched for them but did not know the brand. then i found a new pair i had stashed so i searched again. i was literally so happy i found them. i will buy again when i need more. the reason i buy more is i am overweight a lot and the shell cracks after a few weeks. fortunately that makes them more comfortable for me so i wear them until they get too dirty to wear inside a customer's home.

Good light duty knee pads

I'll preface this by saying my workplace where I wore these is a very heavy duty environment, it's typical for me to hit my knees against metal dozens of times in a days work. When I got these pads, I knew right away where the point of failure would be, the metal bud on the side of the pad where you secure the strap. This was not a build quality issue, but a design issue. I wore these for a month before catching the wrong piece of metal on that bud, and it snapped off. A heavier duty design would ideally be secured in the back, behind the knee, not beside it. That being said, these were comfortable and quite protective, and very breathable compared to by other pads. If you're looking for lighter duty, affordable pads, these are great, they just didn't fit my circumstances.

Indispensable

I wear these everytime I metal detect. The plastic knuckles save my knees. They are great to wear when washing a floor.

Bad durability

I like everything about these knee pads I need I use them for work because I'm on my knees alot. Unfortunately the plastic shell cracked under my weight. (240lbs] there still usable.

Bad Stitching Job

I liked The hard shell Comfort was good But the stitching job was Terrible lasted less than 3 Hours on the Job Working under rail road cars on my hands and knees had to go the rest of the day with no kneepads
