The fastest cup of coffee!

Ordered directly from Bunn. A note on the regular vs high altitude versions: It doesn't matter if you're living at regular altitude, this coffee maker will function perfectly fine either way! These coffee makers truly are as easy as it gets. Pour two pots of water into the tank and it's ready to go in 15 minutes! After that you simply pour in the amount of water you want it to brew using the carafe. 6 cups of water = 6 cups of coffee. This unit brews at the correct temperature for perfect coffee extraction every time! It's a steaming cup of properly brewed cup of coffee all the time every time! I usually brew six cups in the morning to go. That only takes about 2-3 minutes. Clean up is simple. Just rinse out the carafe and filter basket every time. Hand wash the carafe and filter basket every 3 days. Since it keeps water at brew temp in the tank all the time it will lose some to evaporation. All you gotta do is add water to the tank every other day or so. It can be a little confusing. If you want the best cup of coffee at home this is the machine for you. It's fast, it's brewed at the correct temp, and it's easy to operate.

A bit of a hassle

Had the same problem with coffee grounds in my coffee pot. Called Bunn and they sent out a part.Very easy to install. No charge.Problem solved

Overflows!

My folks just bought this machine brand new a couple of months ago. From the very beginning, it overflowed any time we made a full pot of coffee. I'm not sure why a brand new pot should overflow. The only way to keep it from overflowing is to open the lid periodically on top to let the water catch up in the basket. Sorta' defeats the purpose of having a coffee machine that is supposed to make a quick pot of coffee! Thankfully for my folks, they like their coffee rather weak and they seldom make a full pot of coffee for the 2 of them so they aren't dealing with overflows, but anytime family comes to visit, we are dealing with the mess of overflowing coffee all over the counter if we make a full pot of coffee.

Miserable design, miserable coffee maker

Design is terrible, speed brew takes 15 - 20 minutes unless you want to keep it plugged in 24/7, reservoir holds 10 cups, anything over that you pour in, is your coffee, reservoir always holds 10 cups. The brew switch is the white thing when you close the lid, when you brew in the morning you have to pour your coffee in and then close the lid to start brewing, if you do not keep it plugged in heating water all night you have to leave the lid open for 15 - 20 min. There are 2 switches, one to turn the water heater on and the other is the carafe warmer. The thing leaks no matter what you put into it, the warmer has an open slot around it, if you spill anything it goes into the machine. When you think it is finished brewing it drips everywhere. The design of this thing is horrible, complete failure.

A total dud

As other reviewers have pointed out, this product is terrible. It seems to be a cheap version of more sophisticated quick brewing machines. As others have pointed out, coffee is lukewarm, weak, and the machine is difficult to clean and drips everywhere. It's supposed to give you as much coffee as you put water in, but you're often surprised by how much you actually get. The instructions implicate dirty or worn out parts for these issues, but my machine is brand new. I've tried many batches with the same results, so it's time to give up on this one. Buy something else!

What Did I Buy?

Full disclosure- I bought this item at a big box store, not through Amazon. I'm returning it today. The water tank usually does not stay warm even when the warmer switch is left on. The coffee does brew in 4 minutes but it is normally lukewarm and weak. The warming plate does heat the coffee to an appropriate temperature within 10-15 minutes. However, there is no automatic shut-off. To me, this a serious safety issue. A hot, dry coffee carafe could easily cause a fire. On a less serious issue, emptying water out of the machine is extremely messy. (I recommend taking it outside.) In addition, the owner's manual suggest cleaning the sprayhead every 2-3 months by unscrewing it, taking it out and cleaning with soap, a cloth and a toothpick. I don't this so.
