I was very hesitant to order this Anne Klein Bangle watch since there was minimal info provided in the description. However, I’m glad I took a chance…it is truly a beautiful and stylish watch. I have a relatively small wrist (5 3/8”) and for my preference, some watch dials can be too cumbersome on my wrist. This ended up being a little bigger than I’m used to, but not overly large. The other variable which can make or break a watch for me, is the size of the band. Again I took a chance, hoping it was a standard size band that could be sized. Fortunately, this watch came with a removable link. Once the link was removed, the watch sat a little better on my wrist, and didn’t constantly dangle. As I’ve worn it during the day, even with the extra link out, it still manages to eventually work it’s way around to the underside of my wrist. Again, it’s not a big problem. The benefits of wearing it outweigh the minor annoyance of having to twist it back around on my wrist. I imagine another link could be removed with the right tools, but I think it might be too tight to comfortably wear. Aside from being pleased with the aesthetics of the timepiece, I appreciate that it has a secondhand and keeps accurate time. The number markings are easy to read, the crown pulls out easily for adjusting time, the closure is secure and easy to open and clasp shut, plus the Japanese movements and stainless steel back are a reassurance of quality. In contrast, the box the watch was mounted and displayed in seemed cheaply constructed. The order arrived 6 days after I placed it, so I excitedly opened the package. There was a small plain white box, with a cream colored box inside. Based upon the looks of the cream colored box with the watch inside, I initially questioned the authenticity of the watch. When I lifted the lid, I was happy to find the watch did not reflect the presentation of the box. I confess it’s been a few years since I purchased a high quality watch that was presented and sold in a box, so my expectations may be unrealistic. The box is certainly nice enough for gift giving, as the recipient would be more interested in the fashionable watch inside. Considering the price tag on some watches, I am pleased with this Anne Klein bangle timepiece, and would recommend it. I am hopeful that other than an occasional battery replacement, this watch will run for years. In the event that it doesn’t, there is a Limited Lifetime Warranty on it.
