I recommend this bra. Read why below. Although I had to return due to it being too large and not the style I thought it was, the description was accurate. I simply wasn't sure of my size and thought it was a style that had an added feature but it did not. I have this bra in another size which fits pretty well but not perfectly. It provides less coverage on the sides than expected and usual but it still looks great under clothing. The reason it doesn't fit perfectly is that I need one size up. I ordered two sizes up as they didn't have one size up, and I thought I'd take a chance due to the low price. Also, this one lacked a feature I preferred, but that's not a fault in the bra. The underbust band (that goes around your ribcage) fits me well, but I have to use the last set of hooks. That's fine because as it ages and slightly looses I can tighten it. It probably runs a little small so it fit me because I'm a little on the small size around the ribcage. Most people will want to size up for the band size. Understand that if you do that, the cup will get bigger even though you order the same letter size. That's because the cup size is determined by how much bigger the measurement is around the fullest size of your bust as compared to the underbust band size measurement. So, some people will need to order the band size larger but go down one cup size to compensate. The cotton is very comfortable in the heat and that's one reason I love this bra. Another reason is that it holds it's shape pretty well, so you don't have to worry about headlights or slightly uneven breast sizes. It gives you a nicer shape than a thinner cotton bra or an unlined bra of any kind unless it was heavy duty synthetic shaped cups. It's comfortable enough to sleep in, but the first week or two I had it, it was slightly less comfortable. It's softened with use. I hate to admit that I have not washed this since I got it and it's been hot so I've worn it almost every day. I'm a pretty clean person and try to stay cool despite having no AC. So, it's black and doesn't show dirt but also doesn't smell or feel sticky at all. I know I should wash it and will soon, probably by soaking it in warm soapy water, rinsing and soaking in cool clear water a couple of times, and pressing out moisture with a clean towel. It might hold up to the washer but I had a hard time finding something like this so I'll be careful with it. I plan to buy at least two more of these to have on hand. Note: The cups are not seamless, but I don't find the seams to be very noticeable when wearing my usual cotton T-shirts. A very thin, slippery silk or synthetic might show more. I'd rather wear this than a synthetic bra that was hot, expensive and possibly showed headlights or had hard to wash thick foam cups. This is my everyday bra. Despite this bra not really pushing one up as much as my favorite bra for perfect looks under slinky tops and dresses, it does a pretty good job with a slightly natural looking allowance for the weight of the breasts to maybe go down 1/2 inch. for a 34C or C cup. (A 40 C or D would be a heavier breast so this may or may not provide enough lift.) In conclusion, for what this is--an inexpensive, comfortable, cool, modest, youthful shaped, breathable cotton black bra--it's a good find. While I do sometimes sleep in it, I tend to use a Fruit of the Loom 2-layer cotton sports bra even more comfortable, bought one band size larger than my usual. This is still a bra you could wear for 24 hours and be comfortable the whole time.
