Basic Emery Boards

Product: Amazon Basics Nail File Emery Boards, 50 Count These are basic emery boards that I’m using on natural nails. They aren’t quite as rigid as other emery boards I’ve used over the years, but they are sturdy enough to get the job done. Each side has a different amount of grit, coarse and fine, to allow for smoothing and shaping. While these aren’t intended to be used for an extended amount of time, I do feel that they don't last as long as other brands of emery boards I’ve used in the past. You do get a lot of them at a very reasonable price, so it’s not too big of a deal that they don’t last as long before I need to dispose of them. With getting so many, I have them throughout the house, in purses, in the car, etc. I’m not having to go searching for an emery board or my good nail file when I have a nail to smooth out. I always have one quickly at hand. For the price, these get the job done and are a good deal.

works as expected

They're a little small/narrow, but they get the job done. And with so many in the pack I can keep them in all the bathrooms, around the house, at the office, and give them away with plenty to spare.

Easy To Take On The Go

If you need to file your nails while you're on the go then this is a good product. It's disposable and I wouldn't use it more than once as it doesn't seem that sturdy. Quality: The grit on the nail file is what I would say on the rougher side but it did quite a good job smoothing my nails after cutting it. What I like about it too is that it doesn't cut or damage my nail too much. It's also good that you can dispose of this product after it's finished. Overall, solid product and I would recommend to those who need something on the go.

Thin tapered popsicle stick with fine sandpaper glued on one side and coarse on the other.

This is basically a thin tapered popsicle stick with fine sandpaper glued on one side and coarse on the other. The wood is not quite as thick as that of a popsicle stick and is therefore not quite as rigid. I wish they were a touch more rigid, but with patience, they are sufficient for the light sanding purpose they need to fulfill. I have a couple of toenails that have gone rogue and grow about five times as thick as the rest. I use the course side to sand those thick toenails down to a reasonable thickness where I can clip them. The fine sandpaper side I use to smooth down the rough sanded nail surfaces and to smooth the ragged edges of clipped fingernails. I like that the boards gradually taper from the widest part at one end to the narrowest at the other end. I can think of several light mechanical uses these are going to be handy for as well.

Disposable nail filer

Single use items and you should dispose them after each use. They come in a bag and tied in bundles of dozen or so. The filers will turn white as you use them and start to lose the sanding down quality after a while. You might need to use one per hand if you have a lot to sand down but I was able to accomplish two limbs with one.

Excellent

These emery boards are great. They have two grits, a heavier on one side and lighter on the other giving you flexibility in use. Disposable, too. Much better then older metal files, these do a great job on your nails.

These are perfect for travel, home, office, purse, etc. Take EVERYWHERE! I always need a good nail file anywhere I go! This pack is great, you can also share with your friends/family! Great product for a great price!
