Perfect fit, complete kit.
This door handle was a perfect fit for replacing a worn out door handle that I had bought online, some 10 years ago. One critical measurement, that Amazon should include, is the distance between the center of the door knob, and the retaining screw at the bottom of the door handle. When, using as a replacement, this measurement is critical. Fortunately, one of the reviews had mentioned this measurement, and the handle was an exact fit.

Does the job and best price available
Not as wide as other models, I bought this handle due to another model being.. i guess wider would best describe it as it was hitting my storm door and not allowing me to fully close the door. This model is 2.5 inches out from the door if anyone needs to know that and gave me the clearance I needed for closing the door without hitting my storm door. Install was straightforward and matched the holes from a previous install almost perfectly. It's not as heavy duty as other brands and it's actually a little smaller. The deadbolt is included if you need it which is nice but I pared this with a pin pad deadbolt so it's in the box and I can't comment on that. The only complaint that i have is on the inside where the lower handle screws through the door all you get is a washer and a screw. So this elaborate nice looking door handle has an exposed Philips screw head on the inside of the door, i think including a $1 screw cap would have really made a big difference here, as it is i know that the other manufactures included caps and so i'll be trying to source one of those parts to or something similar to hide the screw.

Nice sturdy door handle at a reasonable price. I also got a key coded lock and together they both are nice.

Great value, easy replacement
We had a door handle that came with our house when we bought it which suddenly broke. We were looking to replace it with something similar and other options were either overly costly or had significantly different dimensions. Due to the pre-drilled holes and wear/sun bleach pattern on the door, dimensions were a key concern. Fortunately, this handle set mimicked those dimensions nearly exactly! This handle is a little less heavy and certain aspects seem slightly cheaper than the one we were replacing but the cost to quality ratio is still very positive. The only major change from the prior handle was that the lower attachment point of the handle does not screw into the door but rather through the door so there is a visible screw and metal piece on the interior side of the door. Not overly unsightly but is a more 'exposed' design than other models where the lower attachment point is just screwed in and hidden. Installation was easy; I didn't have to modify my existing holes at all (though that may depend on your existing geometry - check the installation guide to verify dimensions). No issues noted in the first few weeks of use.

I only needed the handle portion of this setup; which fit and looks very nice. Only time will tell how durable the construction and finish are.

I love the look of the handle on my new door. One of the screws that came with it was broken and we were unable to use it to install the handle.

looks nice and was no problem to install but you have to sqeeze hard to open from outside
The metal finish is pretty nice on this. It compares well to the common brands. The one issue is that it seems kind of hard to open the latch from outside. The thumb lever requires considerable force. I tried lubing all of the moving parts that would affect this and that must have helped some, but still I think its design is such that it takes more force to open that others. may or may not be a problem for you..

You get what you pay for and this lock should be free.
I was excited about this lock because it is a lot cheaper than anything else out there. However, the excitement faded when I tried to install the lock. First of all, the handle just doesn't fit my existing holes exactly, the distance is off by about 2mm, which makes a huge different when trying to shove the lock into existing holes. I had to make the holes bigger. The other thing is that it is very flimsy, and the lock mechanism requires some force to open. I had to make some tweaks to the metals (by just 2mm, with a lot of force), for the mechanism to work as intended. But the thing that really makes me upset, is the deadbolt assembly. One of the long screws doesn't even go into the deadbolt hole! Something is messed up with the hole which prevents the long screw from holding the deadbolt. Basically, 2 screws + 2 holes, how hard is it to manufacture this thing? But the fact of the matter is, 1 screw + 1 hole fits in perfectly and the other one just doesn't fit in. So when I tried forcing the screw in (the bad hole) using the Impact Driver, it just went through the plate. See the picture that I uploaded. I was surprised how thin the plate is, it is like a tin foil. Flimsy, light, cheap. I'm very very upset with the quality of this lock. It should not even be sold at all. This is a completely regrettable purchase. I wasted money on this and I would never buy another cheap brand lock (e.g. AmazonBasics) again. FYI I purchased a Baldwin (SmartKey) and the difference is huge. It is way heavier, the metal is way denser, and it would take way more effort to drill through it. I'm fairly happy with my Baldwin purchase.

Getting really hot under the direct sun
Overall it is a good looking Handle Set and it was easy to install/replace my existing set on the front entrance door. However (my door is facing south) the handle becomes very hot (almost untouchable) under the direct sun during the sunny days. The previous handle set I had before was not anything like this. Seems the material this Handle made of is not a thermo resistant at all so not a high quality material which could explain the low cost of this product.
