Recycling in a bag

My neighbor showed me these. I used to have a Hell if a time carrying it all to the bon! Now it’s a breeze, and the bag fits over my indoor collection bin, so I can grab and go!

Decent but rio easily

We need to use clear bags and these are a great price. However they do rio quite easily, even when just pulling them out of the trash can.

The size is perfect to put seasonal clothing away by category- sweaters - blouses- leggings etc. then place them in larger see thru bags, closet, trunk etc.

Suited to purpose

Needed these for a little springtime yard clearing. Sturdy, no flawed bags mixed in. Arrive on time and inexpensive.

I thought they weren't going to fit...

At first I tried to just put the top of the bag around the upper rim of the can, but the can rim is sloped, so the bag would not stay on. What worked for me was to put one side of the bag on the long side of the can, all the way below the handles, then stretch the other side up and over the opposite side. The only downside is that the bag is so tight around the rim of the can that no air can escape from between the can and the bag. On one of the two cans I initially set up, this ballooned the bag so much inside the can that the double-swinging lid bound up on the bag. I took one corner of the bag off and pressed the bag against the inside of the can to let some air out, then put the bag back over the corner. We'll see how well these work in the long run, with stretching the bags over the top like this. I hope they work well, because I have enough of these bags to last several lifetimes now. Note that the can in the picture is the 16-gallon version of the Slim Jim.
