Pretty
It's a very pretty dress. It's darker than the picture shown when I purchased it. It's more of a taupe than a champagne. A little loose in the waist and the hips but not terribly. I'm thinking it's going to be very comfortable to sit in and walk in at the wedding. I'm happy with the purchase.

Perfect fit for short woman
I find Alex Evenings Petite dresses fit me very well compared with other petite designers and this dress is no exception. I am 5'2" and 143 lbs and purchased the size 10P. The jacket is all lace and very light weight but still does a nice job of concealing imperfections. The dress is fully lined with some embellishments but not too much. It arrived in perfect condition and within 24 hours! I feel like the top of the dress is a little loose and I've been losing weight recently so if I lose any more, I may need to order the 8P. The sizing is generous.

The dress fit and looked nice. The lenght was right at the knee. The color of the dress is a bit darker than expected. However, the sequins brighten it up. The best part is that it is young looking but still appropriate. I'm a young looking 60.

Very pleased with this figure- flattering dress.
This dress fits my petite frame well. It is figure- flattering. The material has a stretch and is comfortable. Champagne color is darker than pictured on website. There are scattered sequins throughout the dress, which gives it just enough bling. I’m usually an 8P or 10P if it’s a fitted dress. 8P fit me best on this dress. Amazon delivery was on time.

I love the dress
I love the dress. It is exactly as pictured, fits perfectly and the color is exactly what I need to match the wedding party. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it has a red stain in the back of the dress at the bottom. See photo. I chose not to return it because the date of the wedding is coming up and I did not want to take the chance of being without the dress.

Beautiful dress
This dress is beautiful. I will be wearing it to an event in a month from now. It is so comfortable and lightweight. It is slightly large. I wear a size 12 pants and a 14 top, so I ordered a 14. The last dress I bought I had to go up to a 16 for it to fit on top. This one is even a little loose on the top and it is a bit loose all over. If I were to be lucky enough to lose a few pounds, I would need to take it in a bit, but that looks like it would be easy to do. The lace overdress and the knit underneath are sewn together, so it wouldn't take much to pull it in a bit more. Anyway, It is perfect and the jacket fits me perfectly. I love to be comfortable when I'm out for the evening. I'm too old to be poured into a tight fitting dress! Ha.

perfect Mother of the bride dress
Petite dresses in size 12 are hard to find. Just the right amount of sparkle, easy care, forgiving when packed in a suitcase.

Well worth the money
