Raising My Rating

I have a lower rated review on this table that explains how useless the first table I received was. However, the company C/S was very responsive and sent me another table the same day I emailed my complaint. The second table is perfect. The surface still has big wood grain but a drink and/or lamp will lay flat on the surface. It is a very pretty table, great stain color and very sturdy. You run the risk of getting a bad one, you may have to return it for a replacement but it is a good table for the price. Very simple assembly.

Perfect little end table!

I needed a small, taller end table for my favorite Tiffany lamp and this one is perfect! I was surprised it's made of metal (legs) and wood (top) but I like it!

Uneven texture

I love the rustic look of this piece. It is just what I was looking for but I was surprised and disappointed to discover the top is uneven. There is a long dip in the wood and it will be tricky to sit a lamp on the table. I could sand it down but it would take a lot of work. It would be much nicer if the table top was flat.

Cleaning this thing: discovered the secret

I love this piece and another one I have from the collection but they’ve been a mystery to clean until today. You can’t use rags without them getting caught in the rough grain. Same for paper towels. Vacuuming them only goes so far when it comes to dust and debris. The solution? Tencel baby wipes from Costco. I bought a pandemic load of them to which I add a very dilute bleach and water solution. I needed to disinfect surfaces and tried them on the rough wood (fully expecting the wood protection police to come at me but back off, it’s Covid-19 season). They work brilliantly—no lint left in the grain, all dusted and crumb-free. It must be the tencel that prevents catching the wood bits. Obviously you can skip the bleach.

Very rustic table

This table was larger (bulkier) than I thought. It was also much more rustic and unfinished looking than I had expected.

Great look, great quality

This looks as good if not better than the picture. Purchased the small round table to see how it looked - it is sturdy, real wood and metal, and great quality. I have already ordered additional pieces from the collection.

Love it. Our third Alaterre Sonoma item for the cabin. We have the coffee table and tv stand too. I wish they would make a matching dining room table. 70” x 33” by 28” high. Please? I’d buy it. Just a suggestion.

Cette table est de style industriel, alors il faut que ce soit le « look » désiré. Personnellement je la trouve parfaite. Très solide et pratique. Taille parfaite pour aller entre deux chaises pour relaxer avec un bon café!
